Questions:

Website 1. What does this site tell us about how the study of monsters evolved through the ages? How does the information in this site complement our understanding of Shelley’s goals in Frankenstein?

Website 2. Read the sections entitled “Transformation of a Monster”and “Boundary Crossing/ 1931,” then address the following: how has Shelley’s “creature” evolved in the popular imagination? Why does it remain a powerful cultural icon? What does this site say about its Hollywood transformation?

Website 3. Carefully read through the 4 sections of this website then answer whether or not we should grow GM foods, and why.

Website 4. Describe the ethical issues explored in this article. How do these contemporary realities relate to Frankenstein?
